About Me

I am a lifelong pianist and singer, as well as a risk analytics professional, applied mathematician, North Carolina native, and humanist. I began singing in ensembles at age five; now, I can’t imagine my life without one.

I am currently attending the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY as a graduate fellow and candidate for a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting. Previously, I have served as the Assistant Conductor of the Concert Singers of Cary, as well as a member of their Board of Directors; the musical director for the UNCG Spartones premier tenor/bass a cappella group; and the musical director of the SAS Vocal Motion show choir.

As a baritone, I’ve performed with the professional choir Voices out of Rochester, and the semi-professional NC State Choral Artists. I am also an avid barbershop singer, having served as Vice President of Music & Performance for the Heart of Carolina A Cappella chorus and competed with them at the BHS international convention at Cleveland in 2024.

I earned B.A.s in Music Studies and Mathematics from UNC Greensboro and a Masters of Financial Mathematics from NC State University. I worked as a software developer and domain expert for SAS Institute in Cary, NC for 6 years, and am currently a risk consultant with Financial Risk Group, Inc.
